We only have the one bank left in town now. Fortunately it's the bank we use, otherwise the nearest ones would be 30-35 minutes drive away.

I do most things online and don't often use cash, so as long as the bank does re-open in September as we've been told, it won't affect us much. But everyone relies on the bank's cash point, so it will be a real nuisance having it out of action during August, our busiest month for tourists.
