Printer isn't dead!

I was about to remove the ink cartridges and disconnect the printer prior to booking a slot at the recycling centre to dispose of it. Perhaps it sensed my intentions, because when I decided to just give it one more try, it worked!

So I will continue to use it until the black ink runs out and then we've decided that one printer between us will be fine. I hardly print anything these days and can use the printer downstairs in G's room on the odd occasions that I do need a hard copy.

We are down to one printer too. But I can print thru wireless, even from my phone and I love that.

I theory I could probably print wirelessly, but in practice it's easier to put the document on a USB stick and walk downstairs with it. These days I rarely print anything, other than my default shopping list which I stick up inside a cupboard in the kitchen and then put a tick beside the items I need. Everything else is either read on the computer or transferred to the tablet if I want to take notes to a meeting.
